THE BROTHERHOOD COMMITTEE
History
Ø Born as a function of IBEW Local # 76.
Ø Began in April of 2001.
Ø Chairman: Richard Valencia.
Ø Tacoma's "City of Destiny" 2003 Award winner.
Ø Tacoma Events Commission's "Volunteers of the Year" 2007 Award winner.
Objectives
Mission Statement: "To improve the quality of life for all and to provide the doorway to community and personal service."
Objectives:
Ø Enhancement of solidarity within the Local Union.
Ø Promotion of ourselves within the community.
BUDGET INFORMATION
Ø The budget is generated by dues deductions.
Ø All monies are maintained in a separate account.
Ø The Business Manager, under the supervision of the executive board, administers the fund.
Ø All disbursements must be approved by the Executive Board.
